Precision Dent Repair in a Compact Format
The Re-Tension Mini System is a streamlined, compact version of the original RE-Tension technology — purpose-built for technicians handling smaller dents that require refined lateral tension control. Perfect for minor collision repairs and precision panel work, the Mini brings power and portability together in one efficient kit.
Key Features
Compact Beam Design:
Includes (2) x 60 cm (23.62 inches) aluminum extrusion beams — the same high-strength extrusions used in the full-size Re-Tension L system, now optimized for tighter spaces and smaller repairs.
Specialized Tension Components:
- 2 Dragon Bag’s Traxion Tabs for high-strength glue pulling
- 3 Collision Tabs: 40x40 mm, 24x40 mm, and 12x40 mm — ideal for varied dent sizes and shapes
- Perpendicular Lock-On Lifter: A shortened version of the standard lifter, fully compatible with both the Mini and full Re-Tension L systems
- 2 Buddy Line Buddy Feet for flexible mounting
- 2 Mini Re-Tension Feet designed for close-quarter pulling and tight panel geometry
Precision Fit & Function:
Built with the same core engineering as the full-size system, the Re-Tension Mini delivers equal force distribution and precision control — just in a smaller, more agile package.
How to Use the RE-Tension System
- Prepare the Surface: Clean the dented panel area thoroughly to ensure glue adhesion.
- Attach Glue Tabs: Apply hot glue to the selected tab and adhere it to the dent.
- Position Feet and Beams: Choose the appropriate beam length based on the dent size. Mount the glueable ball feet and lock them into place using the D-rings and strap mechanisms.
- Connect Pull System: Use the lifter and tension carriage to connect to the glued tab via strap or chain.
- Apply Tension Gradually: Slowly increase tension using the spring-loaded system to pull the dent outward. Monitor the panel's shape and adjust as needed.
- Finish and Clean Up: Once the panel is restored, remove glue residue and perform final refinishing.
