When and How to Use the STT6 Shaved Tool Set in PDR
The STT6 tools are specifically designed for accessing dents behind structural braces, in double-panel areas, and tight cavities where standard rods can’t reach effectively. These are common in:
- Door panels with horizontal bracing
- Quarter panels
- Hoods and roofs with sound-deadening structures
- Tight access behind side-impact beams
How to Use:
- Choose the tool length based on panel depth. Use left or right depending on the bracing direction or dent position.
- Insert Through Factory Access or Drill Hole (if applicable): Carefully maneuver the shaved shaft through bracing holes or panel gaps.
- Use Gentle, Controlled Pushes: The shaved tools provide excellent tactile feedback, allowing you to make precise pushes even in hard-to-see areas.
